Nominations of nurses making their mark on nursing informatics in New Zealand are being sought for this year’s Robyn Carr Cup for Excellence in Nursing Informatics*. The cup has been awarded since 2010 to encourage nurses in the field and in recognition of work to further the goals and achievements of nursing informatics.
The cup will be presented at this year’s Health Informatics New Zealand (HiNZ) conference in Rotorua in November.

*Robyn Carr is one of the five nurses who organised New Zealand’s first nursing informatics conference in 1991. She went on to become World Chair of the Nursing Informatics Special Group of the International Medical Informatics Association Nursing Informatics Special Interest Group (IMIA-NI).
