If you want to know what your district health board CEO was reimbursed for taxis, lunches and staff gifts it is now just a click away.

DHB CEOs are the latest to have their credit card and other reimbursed expenses released to public scrutiny in the wake of MPs and state sector officials.

Dominating the list of most CEOs expenses is airport parking fees and taxis to attend meetings with the occasional working breakfast, team-building lunch, farewell dinner or staff gift.

Including that dining expenses can range from Chai Chuah. former Hutt Valley district health board chair and now National Health Board national director, claiming $51 for Hell food for a late night Ministerial Review Group team session in 2009 and a few months later claiming a $457 dinner with now NHB chair Murray Horn and the executive management team.

You can also find out, not surprisingly, that rural chief executives claim more mileage and fuel than their urban counterparts. And that costs for travel to overseas conferences and training are included in some expenses totals and not in others. And that a number of district health boards have a ban on issuing credit cards to staff including their chief executive.

The collated credit card and reimbursed expenses for DHB and DHBNZ chief executives for the two years to 30 June 2010 can be found on the DHBNZ website:
