An updated Immunisation Handbook has been released in readiness for the new vaccination changes coming in from 1 July, including free chickenpox vaccination for children at age 15 months and some vaccine brand changes (see article also in professional development section). Other changes to the 2017 edition of the Ministry of Health handbook include a new appendix listing countries with a high incidence of tuberculosis.
