A toolkit of quick, fun activities for kids first developed to help quake-stressed parents is now a free smartphone app available across the country.
The Tiny Adventures were first developed by the All Right? campaign as a pack of oversized playing cards for Christchurch parents offering affordable ideas for games and quick activities from having fun with a sprinkler to turning smoothies into popsicles and spotting creatures in the clouds to making sock puppets. More than 17,000 packs were given out in the first six months and then All Right? worked with SKIP (Strategies with Kids, Information for Parents) to turn the cards into a smartphone app available for everybody.
The Tiny Adventures App can be downloaded for free from the App Store for Apple devices and Google Play for Android
